Who I Am
I am a native Siberian who relocated to New York City in 2007. In the Big Apple, I received my second M.S. from NYU concentrating in Hospitality. I truly enjoyed this ever-changing industry, working at the Princeton Club, The Waldorf Astoria, and Trump Soho hotels.
I am also a person who breaks stereotypes! I am a native Siberian, but I always feel cold. I am a 98% pure Russian, but do not drink vodka and I’m not blonde. I am definitely a chocoholic, but I am also an avid runner. I guess that’s what makes me special. In my spare time, you can find me playing tennis, running, taking Spanish classes, or learning a new UI trick.
Current Role
Upon relocating to Florida, I found my passion in UX/UI Design and graduated from Ironhack's UX/UI Design Bootcamp in 2019. I began my career in UX/UI Design as a freelancer working on websites and mobile applications for startups across various industries, including beauty, medical, finance, transportation, and law. In 2020, I joined Stryker as a UI Designer. Since then, I have worked on User Interface concepts that led to the development of innovative robotically assisted orthopedic surgery applications for shoulder, knee and hip replacements. I have focused on implementing commonization of the aforementioned apps, have created a common style guide used for all Mako Apps, and has developed an efficient handoff process between UI team and software engineers.
